His email for the week:

This week was an amazing week. Last P-Day the zone leaders came over to do an exchange with the Elders in Gandhi. It was fun talking to them. Elder Ramamonjisoa was the one that stayed over. Have a fun time trying to pronounce his name haha.
Tuesday was a solid day. We went to sector with a member that is getting ready to go on a mission. We had a lesson with this lady. We said hi to her and she was like tell me something about your church. A simple question turned into a 30 minute lesson while standing on the side of the road. It was definitely a first for me but it was good.
Wednesday was another solid day. We only had two appointments for the whole day, and one was in the morning. We went to the appointment in the morning. It was two ladies that weren’t interested. After talking for a bit they became really interested and happily set up another appointment. It was awesome.
When we went out to sector in the evening we went with another member that is also getting ready for his mission. Our one appointment was a baptismal interview. As we left the apartment I got a phone call saying the person was sick and that we couldn't do the interview. It was unfortunate. I looked in the Preach My Gospel app to see who we could teach. Two separate names stood out to me and so we went to their places. We started at the lady's place and had a great lesson. After we went over to the guy's place and taught them. It was cool seeing how the Spirit helped us know who was available that evening without needing to call them.
Thursday we went to sector with the same member. We spent some time learning all of the new members which was very helpful. As we were walking around I wasn't planning on contacting anybody because we were heading to an appointment. These two ladies stood out to me and so I went over to contact them. They were really interested and we even had a small lesson.
That night me and Elder Staker, the other American in the apartment, gave each other haircuts. We started with his $20 Walmart trimmers. I was using them and then after just a minute it got extremely hot and then something inside blew up and it stopped working. yako. It was funny. Luckily I have some trimmers that work well. We gave some decent haircuts for being in the middle of Africa.
Friday we woke up and had a leak in the washing machine pipe. Another yako. The leak was in a weird spot so we couldn't stop it. We ended up going downstairs and turning off the water to our apartment. I never thought I would be the one that made our apartment not have water. Luckily the handyman came quickly and fixed it.
Saturday morning me and Elder Mayele did a small exchange. He and I went to our sector to do a baptismal interview for a lady. During the interview I talked with the lady's husband. We had a nice deep conversation about his life and how even though he isn't perfect he knows the church is true and how he's trying. Right as we’re in the middle of this conversation, I see his two year old boy in the background. He doesn't have any clothes on and goes over where we left our shoes. He then looks down at them and starts peeing all over them. I didn't have the guts to interrupt the conversation, so I left it. Needless to say I put on some wet shoes and then burned my feet off at the apartment.
Saturday evening we had a couple appointments. One of them was a mangez-vous. It was futu banane and sauce arachide which is amazing. They put fish and escargo in the sauce though. Escargo is a really big snail… They looked at us until we ate the snail. It wasn't bad, but I ain't gonna go out of my way to eat that again.
Sunday was an awesome day because we dunked two people. We baptized Sลur Naomi and Sลur Chancelle. We had both of their older brothers baptize them. It was so cool working hard all week and meeting our key indicators, and then finishing it off with two baptisms.
This week should be a solid week. P-Day today we are going to the nearby lagoon as a district. We have a mission challenge to find 7 friends per equipe this week so it should be fun. We also have interviews with President which will be nice.
Spiritual Thought:
This week I had a lot of small experiences with the Spirit, and 2 Nephi 32:5 kept coming to mind:
“For behold, again I say unto you that if ye will enter in by the way, and receive the Holy Ghost, it will show unto you all things what ye should do.”
Sometimes when we are in sector or back at home, there are situations where we don't know what to do. But if we have made covenants with God and continued to be worthy, the Holy Ghost will be there to guide us. I always remind myself that when I listen to the Holy Ghost he will help me more, but when I ignore him he will help me less. I'm not perfect, but I'm grateful to have the Spirit with me, and help me do the work of the Lord.
Thanks for your prayers, I hope you guys have a great week!
Elder Robinson
