Week 50 halfway!!!

Caleb’s release date is July 17, 2026 Bryan’s birthday! It’s a couple weeks early I’m assuming to get school started. But that means he is officially halfway!

We sure love seeing his cute smiling face!

Caleb’s on the right front row behind the sisters. His companion from the MTC Elder Christensen is behind him. Elder Bowels is the tall one smack in the middle! Dude he is tall! I love that he has so many good elders he has gotten to know.

Caleb, his companion Elder Bimai, and Elder Bowels. Caleb really likes Elder Bowels his release date is one month before Caleb’s. His birthday is May 24th and Caleb’s is May 26th.

This is the famous blue eyed kid so they had to snap a picture with him!

Eagles!

Cool pagne bands he found!

Exchange with Elder Walker.

Smallest Nutella ever! Dude!

View from another elders apartment.

Caleb got to call for Bryan’s birthday. We were outside in the heat at memory grove so we were the ones sweating this time! It was 8:30 at night his time.

Caleb snuck a picture of us this time too! We both had our eyes closed 🤪! You can tell he has a smirky look on his face.

His email for the week:

Salut

This week was a crazy week so let's get into it. Last Monday we chilled at the stake center. A bunch of Ivorians came to play soccer with us, so I chose to play the piano instead. One of them tried to steal Elder Ramamonjisoa's ball which was funny. After we chilled and had a good time out in sector.

Tuesday we had district council like normal. Except for this one was not normal because we had the assistants pull up to ours. It's always being with the assistants so we had a great time. The reason they were there was to do exchanges with us, so they came with us back to the apartment. We had a good lunch and then Elder Bowles came with us to sector. Our day was amazing. We met a friend in our sector who is the most prepared person I've met. He has been taught most of the lessons and is ready to get baptized. We threw him on date, and then later threw another one on date. We had a couple good lessons and got some new friends. We also got a picture with this kid with blue eyes. I'll put a picture below.

Wednesday we continued our exchange. We had a few really good lessons, found some new friends, and threw a young man on date. He was like “uhh Elders, I want to know when I could get baptized?” I looked quickly and I was like, “3 weeks?” Dude he got so excited, it was so cool to see. That night we went over to the Lokoa apartment so that Elder Bowles could go get his companion. Getting the Yango was a little hard, but they ended up coming back and to sleep at our apartment again which was fun.

Thursday our day was good, but since we had taught most friends in our sector during our exchange, we spent some time contacting. I had my companion lead us contacting because he is in training, and it was funny because he got stressed out. It was good practice for him and we had a good laugh about it.

Friday we had weekly planning and had a slow day in sector because we had to make some pit stops at the apartment. Saturday we had another exchange. This time it was with Elder Walker, who is my MT. It was a very successful exchange and we had fun being two white guys walking around Yopougon. We had 7 lessons and found 4 new friends, which made it a solid day.

Sunday was a chill day. I gave a talk in church. In the afternoon we had a meeting with the missionaries in our stake with the stake counselor about missionary work. It was very useful and hopefully things improve in the stake. That night we had our Book of Mormon Miracle call with our zone and President and Sister Vore which was fun.

Today we are planning to go to Cosmos, which would be my first time. This week we have zone conference and more exchanges so it'll be a crazy week.

Spiritual Thought:

This week I was reading section 61 of Doctrine and Covenants, and I came across verse six which says, “Nevertheless, all flesh is in mine hand.” Jesus Christ always has us. Yes, life has been, is, and will be difficult, but Jesus Christ is always with us and if we trust in Him, he will lead us back home.

Thanks for your prayers and I hope you guys have a great week!

Elder Robinson
