Week 61 Sept 29th-Oct 5th 2025

His ties!

Trio! It has been really hard managing two areas. They don't have enough time for all the appointments they need between the two of them which is unfortunate but wow it is just so awesome they have so many people to teach. It is hard when Elder Basombela doesn't use his time wisely, it drives Caleb nuts.

Facebook store???!

Elder Basombela was on an exchange so it was just Elder Nelson and Caleb.

Traveling to MLC.

They always get them good food at MLC (missionary leader council). It was KFC.

Pres and Sister Vore are in the middle. This is all the missionaries for the missionary leader council at the office.

Exchange with the Cite Verde Elders. The one in the middle is Elder Walker he was in the MTC with Caleb.

Because of the time difference he doesn't get to see all of the General Conference sessions. He got to watch some of the sessions with members.

Caleb took a photo that I sent him and he edited it and wow it looks amazing! He has so many talents.

His email for the week:

exchanges, taxis, conference

Dude, it's October…

This week was crazy week, but it went well. Last p-day we hung out. We had family home evening with the bishop's family which was fun. Tuesday was a good day. In the morning we had district council. In the afternoon we had a lot of appointments. One of them was this guy called Romaric. I had taught him while on an exchange, and we had given him a Book of Mormon. It had now been 3 months after, and when he saw me he got so excited because he remembered we had given him the Book of Mormon. It was just so cool to see how happy he was and to see how the Book of Mormon had changed him.

Tuesday night we started an exchange with the Cite Verte Elders. Because we are in a trio, it made it easy. Elder Basombela went over there and worked with both of them. Wednesday it was just me and Elder Nelson. In the morning we had the new missionaries training. It was just online. We had a lot of appointments and it was great.

Wednesday night we continued the exchange, but this time Elder Nelson slept with the Cite Verte Elders. Thursday me and Elder Basombela went to MLC. It was great and very interesting. One thing we did was, as an MLC, individually present our own key indicators. It was very interesting to see everyone's, and it was actually pretty fun. The not so fun part was the taxis. One taxi ran away from the police, took us to the wrong place, and made us pay more, while the other taxi broke down way before our destination but still made us pay full price. It was annoying.

Thursday night we continued the exchange and this time I went over and slept with the Cite Verte Elders. Friday we had a great day and taught a lot of people. Saturday morning we had weekly planning.

Saturday afternoon and Sunday we had conference. It was wonderful as usual. It was interesting how there was no prophet and no temples, but I learned a lot and can't wait to go back and study their talks.

This week should be chill with some more exchanges.

Spiritual Thought:

There were a lot of good quotes and messages during conference, but one quote I like is: “You left heaven, but heaven never left you.”

Thanks for your prayers and I hope you guys have a wonderful week!
