Week 69 Nov 24-30th Thanksgiving 🦃
Happy Monday!
Silly picture!
Cambri showing Caleb her new phone she just bought.
Caleb showed us how he orders a Yango, which is a taxi there.
Caleb was going to tell us the sacrament prayer in French. But he always busts me when I try to sneak and film him. It is hilarious! It would happen at home too. I would try and film him when he would sit down to play the piano and man that kid has eyes behind his head!
I still filmed him though hee hee!
Out in sector.
Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃 We got to talk to him on Thanksgiving day too!
They splurged and got KFC delivered to their apartment for Thanksgiving! He had jalapeños in his fries! He ate them no problem!!
Thanksgiving family picture!
After Bryan did the turkey he looked at his finger and it looked like the Côte d'Ivoire flag colors! 🇨🇮
This is their front door.
I am pretty sure this was District Council.
Baptisms! It was combined baptisms so several elders came to do it all at the same time.
When Caleb’s alarm went off in the morning he was getting off his bed to turn it off and his bed collapsed! Luckily it was as he stepped onto the ladder. His companion was in his bed underneath but the tender mercy was his head was on the other side and his legs were tucked in! It’s a miracle neither of them got hurt!
I packed up Caleb's package and delivered it to Tara and Ble! I am just so so so grateful!
Caleb's companion Elder Mondongue wanted blue light glasses so we sent those in the package.
I wrapped some of the things I sent him. This was a sour patch kids advent calendar.
This was a lego Christmas tree.
This was a stress ball!
I got cards signed by family and sent them to him.
His email for this week:
Salut tout le mondeThis week was a fairly chill week. I don't have a lot of time to write this email so I'll keep this one short.Monday we had a fun p-day playing soccer. Tuesday we had district council which went well. The rest of our day was pretty crazy. Wednesday we had a great time in sector.Thursday and Friday we had zone conferences. They went well and we had a good time. Thursday was Thanksgiving. We didn't have any plans and so we ordered KFC with Yango and had it delivered to us. It was really good.Saturday we had the baptism of Moise. It was a collective baptism and so there were a lot of people there. It was cool seeing so many people getting baptized.Sunday morning as I was climbing out of bed my bed broke. And mind you I'm on the top bunk. Luckily neither of us got hurt. For the second hour of church we had a lesson about how we need to clean the church. It wasn't great and we even had some friends leave during the lesson…Today we went to the zoo. This week should be pretty chill.Spiritual Thought:Alma 26:22: “Yea, he that repenteth and exerciseth faith, and bringeth forth good works, and prayeth continually without ceasing—unto such it is given to know the mysteries of God; yea, unto such it shall be given to reveal things which never have been revealed; yea, and it shall be given unto such to bring thousands of souls to repentance, even as it has been given unto us to bring these our brethren to repentance.”Thanks for your prayers and I hope you guys have a wonderful week!Elder Robinson
