Week 67 Nov10th-16th

Happy Monday!!

Caleb was stoked that a French Apostle was called! How cool is it that while he is on his mission speaking French a French speaking apostle is called!

I screen shot the weather for the week. Pretty much this year round!

Zoom meeting with all the new missionaries and their trainers.

Lunch with Pres!

Picking up new missionaries from the airport.

They always stop by the temple for a picture with the new missionaries.

The office elders truck tire blew. Caleb was not in the truck when it happened.

Sisters zone conference he set up for.

This elder thought this was actually really comfortable and took a little nap!

This was to celebrate his companions one year mark. He said it was delicious!

I love that he can still teach and have baptisms as an assistant.

They had dinner with the Stott's and they made chicken enchiladas and even had Olive Garden dressing!!

Did you know Tony’s chocolates are in the shape of African countries that produce cocoa?! We saw a video on YouTube about them. Can you pick out which one is Cรดte d’Ivoire?!

His email for the week:

Salut

This week was another long and crazy week, but it was great. Last p-day we went and played soccer, and it was a lot of fun.

Tuesday we had district council. After we went with the office elders to a sisters apartment to fix their washing machine. All we had to do was remove the styrofoam on the bottom. It was funny. Then we went to the office to have some meetings with the Vore’s. They went a while but it was great. On the way back we took a yango and I basically taught the whole restoration to the taxi driver haha.

Wednesday we went to the Selmer stake center. We had a zoom meeting with all of the new missionaries and their trainers. It was just a q&a, but it was great. After we had a district leader and sister training leader training. It was pretty simple, but it was really good. After there was a mission wide conference, but only for the sisters. We weren’t invited, unfortunately, but we were there when they showed up. We helped them set up and then left.

We went with the office elders to the office and got ready for MLC. Thursday we had MLC at the office. It went great. We spent the entire time going over the individual key indicators for every member of MLC, and had a big discussion. It was actually really good.

Friday the office and elders and us made some videos for President. Then we headed back to Sideci and went out to sector. We had a few good lessons and found a few new friends. Saturday we had the baptism of one of our friends. The baptism went really well. After we went to sector and it was great.

Sunday we went to church. It was great and we had a great time in sector. After we went and had dinner with the Stotts. It was them, us, and the office elders. We had chicken enchiladas for dinner. It was awesome. Then we had a mission and MLC call. They went well.

Today we are going to play soccer. This week we have zone conferences, so it should be fun.

Spiritual Thought:

Helaman 3:29-30:

“Yea, we see that whosoever will may lay hold upon the word of God, which is quick and powerful, which shall divide asunder all the cunning and the snares and the wiles of the devil, and lead the man of Christ in a strait and narrow course across that everlasting gulf of misery which is prepared to engulf the wicked

“And land their souls, yea, their immortal souls, at the right hand of God in the kingdom of heaven, to sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and with Jacob, and with all our holy fathers, to go no more out.”

Thanks for your prayers and I hope you guys have a wonderful week!
