Week 73 Dec 25, 2025-Jan 4th 2026!!!!
Merry Christmas! We got to talk to him on Christmas Day!
In Senegal he bought this peanut butter and this pineapple juice. We have the same thing in our pantry so we had to take a picture with them.
He got to have dinner at President and Sister Vore's house on Christmas Day!
Someone's house.
New Years eve dinner.
It was so fun we were up celebrating New Years eve and Caleb wakes up when we go to sleep pretty much. So we sent him a happy new years text when it hit midnight and it was his p day technically so he called us just after midnight and talked to us! It is always crazy when he is starting his day and we are going to sleep!
Hanging out for New Years day.
He called us again once we woke up. He showed us the mission chauffeur doing a 5 point turn in the mission bus out the window!
They went to Frère Bouassa's house to eat dinner. He is the mission chauffeur and a really cool guy.
He is eating the potatoes, stuffing and gravy I sent him!
Salut
Dude. 2025 is gone, and we're now in 2026.
This week and a half went by quickly, but it was great.
Last Friday, Tuesday and Wednesday we had zone conferences. They all went well, except for lunch. One time lunch came at 13h45, and one time it came at 10h30 haha.
Monday we had district council where the sisters were over 45 minutes late… The only good thing was that they brought food for all of us.
Thursday was P-Day. It was pretty chill. We went to Frère Bouassa's place to have dinner. He is the mission chauffeur and is a really cool guy.
Friday we had MLC. It was at the Vore's place which was awesome. Except for the technology problems, that was grave, but it turned out to be fine. We had pizza for lunch which was nice. After we helped the office elders pick up some bikes and dropped off my MT at the airport.
Sunday was a crazy day. While the bishop was conducting the meeting he passed out. He's fine but everyone was scared for a moment. Later in the day we did baptismal interviews for the first people to get baptized in Zinguinchor which was cool.
Today we hung out at the Toit Rouge stake center. This week we have some exchanges and more zone conferences.
Spiritual Thought:
1 Nephi 16:28 “And it came to pass that I, Nephi, beheld the pointers which were in the ball, that they did work according to the faith and diligence and heed which we did give unto them.”
President shared this scripture during zone conference last week and I really like it. In the mission, but also in life, we need to have faith that things are possible, be diligent about everything we do, and then give heed to Spirit and scriptures. And if we do those things we will be able to see miracles in our lives.
Thanks for your prayers and I hope you guys have a wonderful week!
