Week 77 Jan 26th-Feb 1st 2026

Transfer day is so busy for this guy.

Cambri had to go do a proctored test while talking to Caleb and daddy was kind and took her. So the girls and I got to talk to Caleb for a little longer! He was laying down while talking to him most of the time because the poor guy was so tired from a long day of transfers. He sat up for a picture though.

He called us first while he was waiting to get into the office elders apartment to finally change into comfy clothes.

Yummy ice cream!

Elder Rako.

These are the missionaries going to Senegal.

Nice and cozy driving with Elder and Sister Vore.

Cleaning the font. Check out the cool thing they use to clean with.

The Stott's who were in Caleb's mission are officially announced as mission president of Cameroon.

"Is there life after death?" with a dog face! Nice sign for a church :)

Funny post Bryan sent him from our good friend Tami!

Some of Caleb's MTC buddies or as he calls them MT's.

I believe this is MLC mission leadership council with Elder Ojediran from the seventy and area presidency.

His email for the last two weeks because he was too busy last Monday to send one:

Transfers, Lunch with Pres, Temple, New Comp
Salut

Last time I sent out an email we had just gotten back from the Gambia. Since then a lot has happened and changed.

Tuesday, the day after we got back, we went to district council. We went and helped some elders that got their apartment broken into, and then headed to the office. Elder Mondongue and I spent a while with the Vore’s talking about things. It went well. The next day we were back at the office to do staff meeting. It went a while since we had some things to figure out. After we had interviews with President which were awesome.

When we got back to our apartment it was kind of a disaster. We hadn’t had power for a week and then weren’t there for almost a week and then ran out of power as well. The food in our apartment was horribly moldy. It took a couple hours to clean everything up till we got to a livable state.

Thursday was interesting. So President had mentioned to us on Wednesday that he wanted to start doing companionship study and daily planning with missionaries on the mission. For whatever reason we were the lucky ones that he decided to start with. We did planning with him. It was basically just we planned and he would chime in every once and a while to give us some ideas. During our daily planning we had a plan to find 11 people.

As we went throughout the day we were not finding as many people as we planned. Right before we went back to the apartment we went into an area with a lot of people. We were able to find 6 more friends at once and were able to hit our daily goal. Right as we left those people we saw President had put a message in the mission group chat asking us in front of everyone how we were doing with our goal to find 11 people. I was so grateful we kept going and found the 11 people, because we were able to respond without being embarrassed.

Friday was an awesome day since we were able to go to the temple. Before we went we joined the missionaries going home and ate pizza with them and President. President talked to them about after the mission, getting married, school, etc. It was fun being able to listen. After we went to the temple. It was my first time going to the temple to do ordinances in over a year and a half. I definitely missed the temple, but it was awesome.

Saturday we were out in sector. In the evening we sent out transfer news to everyone. It is always a little stressful trying to send almost 40 messages right at 20h, but we did pretty good. Sunday we went to church and Elder Mondongue packed up his things. We went to sector for a bit so he could say bye to a couple of people. Then we went and picked up my new companion. His name is Elder Rakotomanana. Have fun pronouncing his name.

Monday was p-day, but not really since we were at the office for half of the day getting things ready for transfers. It was a lot of work but we got everything figured out. Tuesday was transfers. We first went to Toit Rouge and dealt with the sisters, then went to Selmer and dealt with the Elders. After we helped all of the missionaries leave in the mission vans and then did two trainings back to back. One for the new trainers and one for the new district leaders.

We did some errands for the missionaries and then headed back to Cocody. On the way I got pulled over for the first time in my life. And it was literally because I was nice, nothing else. We were literaly just sitting there in traffic and a police officer on his motorcycle drove up the road, looked at me, and told me to pull over. I gave him the papers and everything was fine but he wanted my passport. I didn’t have it with me. I think technically I was supposed to pay him for a certain reason that I won’t explain, but we just started talking to him about what we do and what the gospel is and he let us go. It was annoying but funny.

Wednesday all of the new missionaries came. This time was much easier than the others since they all showed up in the afternoon. We hung out at the airport and got Burger King while we were waiting for them. We took them to the office and trained them. We then went to the Selmer stake center and gave all of them their companions. It was awesome.

Thursday we went to lunch as an office. We went to a really nice restaurant. It was really good. After we went to the office and did planning for a 70 that is going to come. Friday we had district council and then went out to sector. Saturday we were supposed to have a baptism but our candidate was working and for some reason his family didn’t know. Sunday was chill.

This week Elder Ojediran is coming. He is a 70 and also in the area presidency. It will be fun learning from him.

Spiritual Thought:

Moses 6:34 “Behold my Spirit is upon you, wherefore all thy words will I justify; and the mountains shall flee before you, and the rivers shall turn from their course; and thou shalt abide in me, and I in you; therefore walk with me.”

Thanks for your prayers and I hope you guys have a wonderful week!
