Week 82 Mar 2-8th

Caleb got a call from sister missionaries at 1:25am. They were scared about a guy downstairs from their apartment. He sure has some random things he has to deal with as assistant.

He went to an African market for Pday and saw these cool paintings. He bought one.

This is the nice office elders truck. He likes driving it.

The painting he bought.

What an awesome picture!!!! I love it so much!

This is the mission chauffeur Elder Bouassa. Caleb loves him and has a lot of fun with him. One time they left one place and drove to another and Caleb was driving and Elder Bouassa was in another driving and Caleb got through a toll booth faster than him yet Elder Bouassa got there way before Caleb. Elder Bouassa just said don't ask. Caleb just laughed but was in awe of how in the world he did that!

MLC at the office.

A little squished for a lesson.

Elder Bado is a stud. He always goes with them to teach and Caleb thinks the world of him. He will be leaving soon for his mission to Nigeria. He will be a great missionary.

Caleb's towels I sent him with are holding up great! Can you tell which one he hasn't used yet?

Caleb got a ride with elder Bouassa which is always fun!

Salut

This week was pretty fun.

Last week for p-day we had a chill day. We went to the african market to look around at some african trinkets. We ended up getting a couple cool paintings. After p-day we had some stuff to do at the office. Tuesday we had our last district council for the transfer and then had stuff at the office. My favorite was when President Vore was talking to Sister Vore, and then looked at us and said “I need to be careful before I end up sleeping on the couch…” It was so funny.

Wednesday we had a little bit of time in sector and then did some stuff to get ready for MLC. Thursday we had MLC. It went pretty well. Friday and Saturday we had sector which was fun. My favorite part was when this pastor lady was praising us for preaching the gospel when she said “[God] will give you the woman you want” because of what we were doing. (what the title said just in english) It was the only thing I remembered from what she said.

Saturday night we sent out transfer news. It is always a little stressful, but also pretty fun at the same time. Sunday was a chill day. We got lucky and were able to take the Bami-mobile, aka the mission chauffeur, to get us to the office which was fun.

This week is transfers, so it will be pretty crazy, but a lot of fun.

Spiritual Thought:

Romans 2:13 “Ce ne sont pas, en effet, ceux qui écoutent la loi qui sont justes devant Dieu, mais ce sont ceux qui la mettent en pratique qui seront justifiés.”

I much prefer this scripture in French, than English, but basically we can't just be “hearers of the law” but we have to be “doers of the law.” We can't just believe, just listen, or just know what is right, but we have to do it.

Thanks for your prayers and I hope you guys have a great week!

Elder Robinson
