Week 97 June 15-21st 2026

I was leaving for girls camp at 6am Monday so I didn't know if I could talk to Caleb Monday morning so he called at midnight our time Sunday night as he was walking up 6am for his time. It was so sweet of him. It was dark at first when I started talking to him but then the sun rose as we were talking.

I did get a chance to talk to him at camp thanks to TMobile service being amazing there! It was at the end of his p-day. He snapped this screen shot.

Bryan snapped this one.

Caleb's very lazy companion Elder Mulumba.

P day they went to the Jacqueville in Songon and saw the ocean!

Caleb and his MT's had to go renew their visa's so they can leave the country here in a few weeks!

Caleb is getting excited for our Florida trip! He saw these and snapped a picture!

Great quote shared by Caleb's mission president.

Happy Father's Day! Truly the best gift!

His email for the week:

pas encore là

Salut

Sorry it’s been a couple weeks since I’ve sent an email.

Everything is going well here. Since my last email we had transfers. Elder Akpabli got transferred and I got Elder Mulumba from Congo Kinshasa. He has done 4 transfers in the mission, is a francophone, and is a chill guy.

The work here in Andokoi is going great. Guy Roland got baptized a couple weeks ago which was awesome. He was the one that showed up to church by himself one day and said he wanted to be baptized. There are a couple more friends in our sector that want to be baptized and have baptismal dates, but they are living in concubinage and need to get married first.

The longer I am here the bigger I realize our sector is.

I did an exchange with Elder Christensen and Elder Brooks. It was my last exchange with Elder Christensen since he just headed home. I also did a half day exchange with Elder Bahr since he made a visit to Andokoi.

This week I did an exchange with Elder Walker since we need to do a visa run along with a couple other of our MTs. We spent the night in Cocody which was a lot of fun. The visa run is where we headed to a government place and renew our visas so that we can leave this country in a couple of weeks.

Last week for P-Day we went to Jacqueville and spent some time on the beach. It was a lot of fun.

It is crazy that I have three weeks left. I am loving the mission and could keep doing this for a long more time, but I am also excited to go back home and see my family again.

This week we’ll do some exchanges, but other than that it should be pretty chill.

Spiritual Thought:

One thing that I am learning about as I continue to grow, is the importance of doing God's will. Jesus said many times how he was always doing God's will. For example John 6:38 “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.”

Even during the hardest moment of his life, he said “nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.” (Luke 22:42)

During the most difficult parts of our life, let us try to follow Christ's example and be able to say “I do His will” (D&C 19:24).

Thanks for your prayers and I hope you guys have a great week!

Elder Robinson
