Week 60 Sept 22nd-28th 2025 Transfers- Trio

Caleb likes this sweet milk.

Always fun to see the other elders at transfers.

Last time with Elder Bimai and Elder Woodard at the apartment.

Saying goodbye to Elder Bimai.

Ties he traded for.

The transfer news was kind of crazy. Caleb got told he was going to still be zone leader and so was Elder Basombella and they were going to be in a trio training the new elder and covering both areas all together. Elder Nelson is from Mapleton, Utah. The President pulled Caleb aside and told him he had other plans but at the last minute the spirit told him to do this. It was cool finding out later the reason the spirit told him that was that Caleb needed to be there for Elder Nelson at this time. I love how the spirit works.

Their balcony.

Caleb's white shirt has a yellow tint except where his badge is it is still white! It is hard to see in the picture.

Caleb's zone.

Check out these eggs. Yuck.

The trio!

Elder Bosambella has a hard personality to get along with so this face of Caleb's just puts it perfectly!

Baptism for a dad and son💕.

This kid was so mad his brother left and Caleb just grabbed him and he laid down and curled up on his foot and fell asleep.

Caleb is my hero. He is just doing so much good amongst so many hard things and it just brings me to tears thinking of all the lives he is touching.

He found out Sunday morning of Pres Nelson's passing.

His email for the week:

mutation, fils, baptême

Salut

This week was a crazy week. Last Monday we went to the Toit Rouge stake center to play soccer. It was fun. In the evening we visited a couple people that Elder Bimaï wanted to say bye to.

Tuesday was transfers. We did them at the Selmer Stake center. There were a lot of people there. It's always fun going to transfers and seeing all of the other missionaries. Our transfer news is that Elder Basombela and I are training a new missionary, and we will be doing Base CIE 1 and 2. It will, and has already been, a little rough doing both sectors because we were already busy with our own respective sectors. After we had a trainers training which went well.

Because the new missionaries weren't here, Elder Bimaï stayed with me until Thursday. Wednesday morning we were out in sector when we were talking to this guy on the street. This kid came up to us and didn't say anything. As we left this guy the kid followed us. We asked what he wanted and what he was doing but he wouldn't talk. He used his hands to explain he wanted our pens. He wouldn't leave us so we found someone to help him leave us alone. It took a while but he finally left.

Thursday we went back to the Selmer Stake center. There were 24 new missionaries that showed up, and almost all of them were americans. It was crazy. Our new companion is Elder Nelson. He is from Utah and is a really cool guy.

Friday we had district council and did some baptismal interviews for Cite Verte. Saturday we had a baptism for a dad and his son. This dad has had problems with the word of wisdom for a long time, but was finally baptized today. It was such a cool experience, except for the fact that the stake had a primary activity and so literally during the entire baptism there were kids screaming and running around. The Spirit was still there though.

Sunday we woke up to the news that President Nelson died. I am going to miss him, but at the same time I am very grateful for everything he has taught us and the example he has set. It was also a fun challenge teaching about prophets when we didn't have a living prophet on the earth. Church went well but it was difficult balancing the two wards.

This week we have MLC and some exchanges planned so it should be fun.

Spiritual Thought:

“The Lord loves effort because effort brings rewards that cannot come without it.”

“In other words, you don’t wish for a blessing; you work for a blessing and you make it possible” - President Nelson

D&C 130:21: “And when we obtain any blessing from God, it is by obedience to that law upon which it is predicated.”

God has a lot of blessings in store for us, but we have to work for these blessings. We have to work to keep the commandments, and if we do we will be blessed for our efforts.

Thanks for your prayers and I hope you guys have a wonderful week!

Elder Robinson
