Week 79 Feb 9th-15th
It was Cailey’s birthday on his p day so that was fun!
One of his exchanges.
Busy day!!
Elder Rako.
Yuck.
I love his little messages he sends. It was our anniversary on the15th.
This week went by extremely quickly, and it was a lot of fun.
Last p-day we headed to Cocody to do some things. We took a yango but didn’t have change. The driver went to find change, and the guy he asked ended up paying for our yango for us. It was very nice of him because that was not a cheap yango. Tuesday we had district council and then were at the office for a while.
Wednesday we did exchanges. I was in Azito 2 with Elder Wheeler and Elder Rako was in our sector with Elder Moses. We had a great day with exchanges. We had some good lessons and were able to find some new friends.
Thursday we kept doing the exchange, but changed who was with who. I went to Niangon 2 with Elder Moses, and Elder Rako went with Elder Wheeler in our sector. It was fun since I worked in Niangon 2 for two transfers almost a year ago. We had a great day and found a lot of new friends. We had one lesson where these two mamas weren’t understanding what we were talking about. At the end of the lesson we testified, and they did not like the fact that my comp said that he knows we are the only true church on the earth. It was unfortunate since they didn’t even shake our hands when we left.
Friday was a normal day in our sector. We did weekly planning and had some funny things come up while we were in sector. Saturday we did more exchanges. I was with Elder Nelson, my MT, in Koweit. It was awesome and one of the most efficace exchanges I have had. Our goal was to find 10 people for the day, but we ended up finding 10 before 12h30 because we hit a jackpot. There were these houses all bunched together, and almost all of them let us teach them. In the afternoon we kept finding more people, and put someone on a baptismal date. It was awesome.
Sunday was a chill day. We went to church and went to sector in the afternoon.
Today is p-day. This week we don’t have much, except for more exchanges.
Spiritual Thought:
3 Nephi 27:29
“Therefore, ask, and ye shall receive; knock, and it shall be opened unto you; for he that asketh, receiveth; and unto him that knocketh, it shall be opened.”
If you don't know, just ask. He's there and will always be there.
Merci pour vos prières, et j'espère que vous aurez une merveilleuse semaine !
