Week 81 Feb 23-Mar 1st 2026

The girls were exhausted from a long week so we let them sleep. So it was just Bryan and I on the call.

District activity for Pday they ate in Cocody at a really nice restaurant.

Elder Rako sleeping!💤

Working in the office.

Elder Lenderman an office elder.

Reflection in the nice tv!

So crazy these two started the mission in the Ghana MTC as companions and look at them now! It was fun for Caleb to do an exchanges with him.

This was funny! The American Elders are losing their English! It gets mixed up with
their French! So they like to tease each other!

Exchange with Elder Bahr! Also an Elder he came on the mission with.

Shows what a hard working missionary Elder Bahr is, the words on his badge are wearing off.

Exchange with Elder Gwilliam in Gesco.

We found out on Saturday Bryan was being called as the 1st counselor in the new Stake Presidency. There were two visiting authorities from the seventy that came to reorganize our stake presidency and one of them was Elder Matswagothata from Botswana in Africa!! It was so amazing to be able to meet with them. What humble sweet servants of the Lord. But we asked them if it would be okay to have Caleb on the phone when Bryan got set apart and they said absolutely! So we sent an email to ask Caleb's mission president as well and he said yes as well. So we were able to share the video link for stake conference when he got sustained. Caleb was in a Family Home Evening at the time so he watched but couldn't listen. But he took these screen shots. It was so so so special to be able to share that with him all the way in Africa. I LOVE technology! Then when he got set apart he called my phone and was able to listen. Then the seventies went around to shake everyone's hand and I said my son in Africa is on the phone to Elder Matswagothata and he totally talked to him for a brief second. One of the things he said to Caleb was, "You may leave Africa but Africa will never leave you." Such a sweet tender moment. So in Caleb's email when he says Sunday was awesome this is why💗.

Caleb's MTC companion and the sister missionary he really likes happen to be right by each other on the zoom so he snapped a shot! See the smiles on their faces!

His email:
More exchanges

Salut

This week was pretty chill again.

Last P-Day we had a district activity. We went to a nice restaurant in Cocody and ate some food. We also went to the mall and just walked around. Tuesday morning we went with the mission chauffeur to the US Embassy to try some things out. After we had district council and then had some stuff and the office.

Wednesday I did an exchange with Elder Christensen, my MT and also my comp from the MTC. We had a solid day and had a lot of fun. Thursday I was with Elder Bahr, who is also my MT. We also had a solid day and had a lot of fun.

Friday we were in our sector. It was chill. Then Saturday we had more exchanges. I was with Elder Gwilliam in Gesco. It was a really cool sector and we had a great day. Sunday was an amazing day.

This week will be a little busier, but we’ll see what happens.

Spiritual Thought:

Teach In the Savior's Way by Elder Newman, “So it is with the word of God. We can teach it, we can preach it, we can explain it. We can talk about it, we can describe it, we can even testify of it. But until a person feels the sacred word of God distill upon his or her soul like the dew from heaven through the power of the Spirit, it will be like looking at a postcard or someone else’s vacation photos. You have to go there yourself. Conversion is a personal journey—a journey of gathering.”

Thanks for your prayers and I hope you guys have a great week!
