Week 87-88 April 6th-19th
Elder Rako’s birthday!
Caleb got to go to Tiassale for exchanges which takes him right past N’douci where he started his mission! He loved seeing so many familiar places!
Exchange with Elder Presbury..
I remember this from Caleb riding a bike to Tiassale when he was in N’douci he would pass it. But it was brown water when he was there back then.
I had to go find one of the pictures when he was there over a year and a half ago.
This is deciding on transfers. Pres Vore puts it up on the screen and they talk about where the missionaries should go. This was the meeting Caleb found out where he was being transferred to.
Caleb enjoying the new assistants doing all the work and he just watched over them!
Transfers! Caleb was just teaching the assistants all that they need to do.
Caleb's new apartment view. The jungle in the distance is the border of the mission.
Out in sector!
His email for the week:
Ça fait deux semaines deh
Salut
These last couple weeks have been crazy, but I figured I needed to right an email this week to keep you guys up to date.
Two weeks ago we went to Tiassale and did exchanges with the elders there. It was a blast and we had a lot of fun.
Last week was transfers. Last Sunday we went and picked up two new assistants. Monday we didn't really have a p-day since we were at the office getting ready for transfers. Tuesday we had more stuff to do, and in the evening we sent out transfer news.
Wednesday we spent the whole day taking care of the new missionaries that showed up. Thursday we did transfers and I got transferred! My new sector is Andokoi and I'm with Elder Akpabli. He is from Ghana and this is his third transfer.
It's been fun having more time to be in sector. After this transfer I will have one more transfer remaining. Time is going by fast, but I'm loving every minute of it.
Today we went to a restaurant as a district and also went to Abidjan mall which was fun.
Hopefully next week I'll send out a more detailed email haha
Spiritual Thought
"We don’t serve only those we already love; rather, we come to love people as we serve them." - Elder Caussé
Thanks for your prayers and I hope you guys have a great week!
